Vlad B. Porter, President
Commercial real estate entrepreneur Vlad Porter established VB Porter & Company in 2004, after refining his skills for more than a decade at some of the world’s largest consulting firms and New York City’s most established commercial real estate firms.
With his in-depth understanding of the financial and technical aspects of commercial real estate and his hands-on experience in negotiating complex transactions, he offers his clients a full range of real estate services. That experience and entrepreneurial edge has helped to establish VB Porter & Company as one of Manhattan’s fastest growing specialty real estate services firms.
Prior to forming VB Porter & Company, Mr. Porter drove business development initiatives for real estate services firms including GVA Williams and Cushman & Wakefield, where he completed transactions totaling hundreds of thousands of square feet. He has provided his high level of expertise to institutional clients on both acquisitions and dispositions primarily in New York City, including MONY, American Lawyer Media, Siegel & Gale and The Daily Deal.
Before entering the brokerage services arena, Mr. Porter developed appraisal skills in the Valuation Services Group with Arthur Anderson LLP, where he conducted all aspects of appraisals for commercial, retail, industrial and residential properties throughout the United States and Canada for clients including CIBC, GTE, MCI, Tishman Speyer Properties, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette and Sumitomo.
Mr. Porter was previously a consultant within Ernst & Young’s Real Estate Group, where he analyzed the performance of real estate portfolios, advised on site-search and selection and evaluated incentive programs from local EDC’s. While at Ernst & Young, his clients included Chase Manhattan Bank, Goldman Sachs, Mutual Benefit Life Assurance Corporation, General Electric Capital Corporation, among others.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from New York University, and is fluent in Russian.
Bruce Murray, Director of Consulting
Bruce Murray, Director of the VB Porter Consulting Department, has been helping clients to make decisions pertaining to their commercial real estate matters for over 20 years. Upon developing an understanding of the question at hand, Mr. Murray has employed a variety of solutions, ranging from detailed analyses of cash-flow estimates or market due diligence for a wide range of real estate types to development of big-picture concepts relating real world practicality with client goals. Such services have included financial modeling for market sensitivity analyses for developers to developer selection and negotiation support for municipalities and government agencies. Experience includes 11 years of commercial real estate appraising at small and large firms including Cushman & Wakefield and Chase Manhattan Bank, and 9 years of consulting (including 5 at a “Big Five” accounting firm.

Paul Sosa, Director
Paul Sosa is a specialist in commercial leasing (office & retail), business sales, and residential (rental & sales). He has extensive experience in negotiating complex transactions, and he offers his clients a full range of real estate services. He has a talent for finding creative solutions to the various problems which may occur in order to ensure a smooth and timely conclusion of matters.
Prior to joining VB Porter & Company, Mr. Sosa worked as a high-end general construction manager in Manhattan. After gaining experience with other companies, he started his own general contractor firm in New York, NY, building from the ground up and operating all types of interior renovation, residential and commercial construction.
In 2007 Mr. Sosa shifted completely to real estate. He became a licensed real estate agent doing Manhattan rentals and sales. In a very short time Mr. Sosa's enthusiasm and unwavering work ethic led him to expand into office and retail leasing, joining VB Porter & Company Commercial Real Estate Services in 2007.
Mr. Sosa brings 18 years of experience in all aspects of the building trades, which he applies to his assessment of properties for clients. He is a highly skilled carpenter, estimator, and job layouts planner. Mr. Sosa’s application of his skills to clients’ needs is a valuable asset for our company.He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
Dorrie Massaria Roberts, Director
Dorrie Massaria Roberts is a Director at VB Porter & Company, and specializes in leasing of office and retail properties with emphasis in tenant representation. Dorrie began her commercial real estate career at Helmsley-Spear Company as an Assistant Director of Leasing where she acquired strong problem solving, analytical, planning and implementation skills. With in-depth and comprehensive expertise of the marketplace, Dorrie has gotten positive results for a diverse client base. Her business activity has her well qualified to represent her clients? best interests. Additionally, her broad understanding of landlords? priorities enables her to provide clients with best tactics for negotiating favorable lease transactions. Dorrie has a reputable track record of defining client objectives, formulating aggressive goal and outlining direction to perform to the highest level.
Dorrie has undergraduate degrees from FIT and SUNY and an MBA from Fordham University.
Irina is a specialist in commercial properties and business sales and has been doing business in United States since 2001. In 2002, she established her own firm , specializing in interior design, also writing articles on design for a magazine "All for Home" - Russian publication in the US. Mrs. Fedotova has been working in the Real Estate industry since 2006, has reputable and reliable clientele in commercial and business sales. She has an impeccable reputation in the industry, as well as recognized and proven track record working with Russian investors on purchases of Real Estate/businesses in the United States .
She finished University of St. Petersburg, Russia, with Economics Degree; School of Interior Design in Finland; and has a New York State Real Estate License and is fluent in Russian.
Boris Slutskiy is a licensed Real Estate Agent and a member of Board Association in New York and New Jersey. Mr. Slutskiy is a graduate of Weichrt Real Estate Academy where he had passed a comprehensive training program. He has a significant experience in commercial and residential real estate. He had worked in leading real estate companies where he represented clients in connection with all types of real estate operations. Mr. Slutskiy is experienced in all aspects of commercial leasing and has been involved in numerous and substantial real estate transactions. His knowledge, persistence and reliability have made him an exceptional deal maker. Boris works with his clients to support their long-term interest, not just the deal at hand.
